as a visual artist.

Dedicating her entire life to the Visual Arts, The Cheryl D. Miller Collection at Stanford University is the legacy professional archive of research, writings, corporate communications firm, Cheryl D. Miller Design, Inc., New York, New York. Further including memoir research and manuscripts. The collection features, Corporate Communications developed for Fortune 500 Corporations breaking ground in corporate iconography for Diversity, Equality and Inclusion initiatives and corporate sponsored corporate communications for African American and corporations developed after the Civil Rights Era 1974-1994. 

The Cheryl D. Miller Collection at Stanford discovered by the John Knight Fellows in research, now provides research for scholars across five disciplines; Anthropology, Communications & Journalism, Feminist Studies, American History/Political Studies and Communications Design at Stanford.  

She has notoriety and has been recognized as a national leader of minority rights and advocacy in the Graphic Design industry. Miller's accomplishments have been further recognized by the AIGA Design Profiles which feature design leaders having embraced Diversity, Equality,and Inclusion as as a part of their mission. She now turns her lense toward creating a Fine Arts Collection which can be used for organizational fundraising endeavors.

Miller is continuing her visual art legacy developing the C.D. Holmes Miller, Fine Arts of Fairfield gallery of Contemporary Art designed for Corporate, Hospitality and Residential Interior Design as well as for Not For Profit fundraising initiatives.

Cheryl D. Holmes Miller holds the Master of Science-Communications Design degree from the Pratt Institute, N.Y. and the Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Foundation Studies, The Rhode Island School of Design. She is a former business owner; Cheryl D. Miller Design, Inc.,

New York serviced corporate communications to a Fortune 500 clientele. 

She is a design industry winner, of countless awards i.e.—Awards of Special Merit, Association of Graphic Arts; Best of Category, PIA Awards; Award of Excellence, PIA Awards; Graphic Excellence, Neenah Paper Awards; Certificate of Excellence, The Art Director’s Club of New Jersey; Various Awards of Excellence: Art Director’s Club Awards, Desi Awards, Peabody Awards, Crystal Awards- Business Women of the Year, Ceba Award, Broadcast Design Awards.

In addition, Miller is theologically trained and a professional clergyworman. She has served as a dual status ordained minister for both The United Church of Christ and The American Baptist Churches, USA serving local parishes. She is ordained to the Gospel Ministry by the American Baptist Churches, USA. She was consecrated to the bishopric by the Holy Light Pentecostal Ministries, Inc. for her service to worldwide global missions.

She is a Master of Divinity graduate of the Union Theological Seminary in New York City and a Benjamin E. Mays scholar.She has received numerous Honorary Doctorate degrees for her service to the Gospel Ministry.

Multiracial and multiethnic of Philippine American and African American descent, her families are found in the Americas, The U.S. Virgin Islands and Cavite, Philippines.
